Crash Pad Series Episode 220: Mistress Kara & Stefani Special

One of my favorite things that I get to see in Crash Pad is playing with gender and titles, specifically in this episode, using the title “Sir” to address someone who is femme presenting. It throws sand in the face of hetero- and cis-normativity, and I’m all for that.

There’s nothing quite like the zap of the Neon Wand. (Funnily, I attended a class earlier today on ElectroSex.) I seriously need to try out some E-Stim. I mean, I knew that. Episode 220 just reinforced it for me.

Stefani Special has the best reactions to everything in this scene. She’s adorable.

Mistress Kara has this fun, devilish glimmer in her eyes.

As always, the Behind the Scenes is insightful, endearing, and gives a more well-rounded view of these amazing performers. I love that they talked about being able to work in such a positive sector of the porn industry while being firmly and unapologetically a feminist.

This time the BTS takes it one level further and gets political, but in keeping with the overall umbrella of porn which is to Vote No on Prop 60 (The Condoms in Porn Law) in California this November (Nov. 8, 2016). I have friends in the industry and I follow some folks on social media who are in it, too. It’s a confusingly written ballot measure that seems like it wants to help people who are porn performers, the key word is seems. What they fail to address is that consistent STI testing is really effective. It’s frustrating for folks who do the work to have people and organizations who are not so sex positive try to “help the porn stars.” It aims to take away their agency over their bodies and practices under the guise of helping people just don’t know any better. Tl;dr: It’s Bullshit.

This episode was amazing, intense, full of connection, and fun. The photos are worth the price of admission. I definitely feel like several things got left on the cutting room floor, which is fine. Movie magic, editing, has to happen, but there are some seriously smoking hot stills that I may have to pour over further.
