Getting Noticed: Sex Blogging Superhero & more!

I tend to not toot my own horn all that often, but in this case I’m pretty proud of recent events and thought I could share these with my readers. The past two days have been pretty awesome. On Tuesday I gave my very first solo talk to a small, intimate group of sexologists, students, and sex geeks on Encouraging Erotic Embodiment and Self Acceptance. I’ve done panels in the past, which I love doing. And I have facilitated a couple small groups, but this was the first time I wrote my own stuff and went it alone. And it was pretty fun! I was damn nervous, but I got through it and I learned a lot from giving the presentation. I can’t wait to do another!

Then I received two very cool announcements: I had been listed as one of Kinkly’s Top 100 Sex Blogging Superheroes of 2014! It’s my first time on that list! I’m so honored to be included among some people I know both in person and whose works I follow online! These are some kick-ass bloggers and educators. Take a peek at the whole list! The other piece of humbling news I got was that a post of mine was tied(!) for Second Runner up in the Between My Sheets’ 2014 Educational posts of the year! Oh-Em-Gee, you guys! It was a post that I loved writing and poured my heart into, and getting recognized for that feels pretty swell. I’m included alongside very illustrious bloggers and educators whom you should certainly check out as well!
