About Sexologist Vixenne

Dr. Victoria Reuveni, DHS, CSB is a Los Angeles-based sexologist, bodyworker, educator, and coach working with individuals, couples, and groups to facilitate going deeper in erotic embodiment and self-acceptance through mindfulness, breath work, and touch. She blogs about sex, kink, gender, and body image and reviews toys. Victoria does outreach education with the Center for Positive Sexuality, speaking on panels to university students and professionals about kink/BDSM, nonmonogamy, and sex work.

Dr. Victoria started her Sexological Bodywork and coaching practice in March 2014.

  • September 2016: Spoke on a panel at CatalystCon West.
  • February 27, 2016: Taught at “Calling Forth the Gush” at Stockroom University. (A non-demo squirting class focused on anatomy and techniques rather than gender or orientation.)
  • As of February 2016, Victoria became a board member at Center for Positive Sexuality. 
  • She is currently a member of The Community Academic Consortium for Research on Alternative Sexualities (CARAS).
  • In October 2013, Victoria received her Doctorate in Human Sexuality (DHS) from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS) in San Francisco.
  • She completed her Sexological Bodywork Certification training at IASHS in June 2013, became a member of the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers in the winter of 2014.
  • Victoria has attended three SARs (Sexual Attitude Restructuring), one as participant and two as small group facilitator.
  • Victoria earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Human Sexuality from California State University-Northridge in the Spring of 2010.
  • As of the Spring 2013, Victoria has been volunteering at the Center for Positive Sexuality as an educator, speaking to college and university students about alternative sexualities such as kink, BDSM, non-monogamy, and sex work.
  • Victoria has been a part of the Los Angeles Sexologist Associates since the Fall of 2011.

Victoria believes that comprehensive, accurate, sex-positive information is crucial to a healthy life and to making informed decisions for your own sexual and reproductive health. She hopes to help break through the shame and guilt that have been associated with sexuality.

The purpose of this blog is to bring the sex positive message out to as many people as possible. Victoria’s focuses are on consent, communication, open relationships, BDSM/kink, and body positivity.
