More than My Flaws

This one is vulnerable and a little scary for me to post. It has minimal edits, just lighting. In it, I see so many elements that would be considered “flaws.” Part of me wanted to crop some it out, like my arm fat. But in all honesty, when I tried it the photo just looked weird.

Despite these “flaws,” it feels strong, powerful, and maybe even sexy. And I gotta say, I love my smoky eye makeup.

By sharing this photo in the challenge, I hope I’m helping to create even a dent in body negativity that surrounds us on a daily basis. I think this is an extension of my work as a whole.
