Review: Mikey O2

Tantus Mikey O2

First things first.

This toy is girthy. The blurb on Tantus’ site for Mikey says it is “short and stout.” They aren’t lying. I found it to be an incredibly filling dildo. Unlike the Cush O2 and the Flurry O2 which are also dual density silicone dildos, Mikey strives to be more realistic. If I want a sensation of fullness and not a lot of “extras” I would hands down choose Mikey over another dildo.

My Experience

The description for Mikey mentions its realism. The veins and ridges are visible and I was able to feel them with my fingers, but they were imperceptible during penetration (for me). I found it to be very smooth, with no drag. It is thick. I mean thick (1.75″ in diameter), but it wasn’t daunting. As I do with all my dildos, I did “’round the clock” sensation mapping. Mikey felt amazing in all directions. Since the ridge of the head is pretty subtle, it did not provide targeted stimulation to my g-spot or my perineal sponge. I feel that Mikey is more about experiencing fullness. With Mikey as with the Flurry, the Tantus stamp on the base is helpful for guiding how I want to hold and position Mikey. With some clitoral stimulation, I found my orgasm with Mikey to be very strong, sudden, and deep. In other words: It was amazing.

I just want to throw out the possibility for using this toy for oral sex. The texture is great for it; the girth is a little challenging, but it is pretty satisfying if you have an oral fixation.

Specs

Mikey is said to be “short.” Well, that depends on your own definition, really. The statistical average length of biological penises (in the USA) is 5.6 inches. Mikey is right about there. It is 6″ in total length, about 5″ insertable. It has a flared base which makes it safe for anal penetration and is harness compatible. Because it’s make of high quality silicone, Mikey is very easy to clean up; I just used soap and warm water, but it is boilable, dishwasher-safe, and you can do a 10% bleach solution if you want to go the extra mile.

Mikey is made of dual density O2 silicone. It has a firm core of silicone, but is quite squishy on the outside. Unlike the Flurry and Cush (which are also dual density toys), Mikey is a bit more malleable, the color may have something to do with this as well the intention of it being a more “realistic” toy. Mikey comes in cream and cocoa. The one I have (in the photos) is the cream one.

[…] tested the Goddess according to the “clock” orientations (as I tend to do when testing dildos). As expected, it felt especially delicious at the 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock positions […]
